ORIGIN
ORIGIN has been part of the business since its genesis in 2001, however its recent re-launch has seen the range evolve into an Ethical trading brand. The range currently comprises of six Fairtrade wines; four from South Africa and two from Argentina. The Fairtrade mark guarantees a better deal for Third World producers. The wines are available in all Wine Rack and Threshers stores across the country. More information is available on our Fairtrade pages.The ORIGIN Organic range of wines has been carefully selected from those producers who are passionate about producing wines in harmony with nature. The wines have all been certified as being produced from organically grown grapes. This means that the growers have not resorted to the use of synthetic fungicides, herbicides or fertilizers in producing their grapes. This "back to nature" approach ensures that the vines and the environment in which they grow their fruit are healthier. The wines are selected on the flavour they deliver and the value which they offer the drinker. So every time you enjoy a bottle of ORIGIN you are also doing your bit for the planet.
